Our family had a fantastic time exploring the newly created Bentwoud Nature Reserve during our stay at the hotel. With over 80 kilometers of cycling and walking paths, we were able to immerse ourselves in the lush greenery and enjoy the serene beauty of the forest. It was the perfect place for our outdoor-loving children to run and play, and we all relished in the fresh air and tranquility that this natural oasis provided. The proximity of the hotel to Alphen's hotspots, such as the Roman themed park and museum Archeon and the bird park and playground Avifauna, gave us the flexibility to easily switch between city adventures, amusement park thrills, and nature explorations. With such varied options, there was never a dull moment for our family!
My children wanted a larger play area for kids at the hotel.

The room was just perfect! I absolutely loved the en-suite bathroom with its refreshing shower and luxurious bath. Having a separate toilet was a bonus too. It made me feel like I had my own little private spa retreat. As a trekker, nothing beats unwinding in comfort after a long day of exploring.
For me personally, I found the lighting in the room a bit dim. But hey, it's just my preference.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment options within easy walking distance. It was also conveniently located for exploring nearby attractions such as Schipol Airport, Haarlem, Keukenhof, and Delft. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and USB charging points above each bed.
The difficulty in finding the hotel, as it was located in a pedestrian area and my satnav couldn't locate it. the car park behind the hotel was also in another street, which added to the confusion.
